Dawna is afraid to admit to herself that she is trapped in an abusive relationship. When an opportunity knocks, she must decide to stay either stay with her boyfriend James or to follow her dreams.

JAMES
Afraid of the possibility of losing his girlfriend, James tries to find ways to keep Dawna to himself. Growing increasingly desperate, he is forced into more and more extreme behaviour to try to hang onto her.
Played by Richard Veltri
Dawna’s best friend, she is certain James has become abusive, despite Dawna’s denials. Later, feeling she came on too strong, Alison tries to check in on her friend to demonstrate her support but is intercepted by James.
